The Death of Ellen Moore is a one-act drama (45 mins).
Ellen Moore is dying. There is an old lady lying in a hospital bed and the main character is a projection of the woman, in a much younger period of her life. The play deals with the psychological and emotional impact of death for the individual and for the family that are left behind.
A confronting work that breaks well-known theatre traditions, The Death of Ellen Moore won 7 awards in the NZ Theatrefest, including Best Overall Play, Best New Play, Best Actor and Best Technical.
