One Act Play Festivals

Gemco Players will once again be hosting the friendly Dandenong Ranges One Act Play Festival on the weekend of August 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2026.
This year we will be adding a monologue component to DROAPF.
All monologues will need to be performed on Friday 21st August as the opening night of the festival.

The Young Players Festival is the opening event at 9:00 on Saturday morning. It is usually split into Junior and Senior sections, beginning with the younger performers and a short break prior to seniors section which may extend into the early afternoon.
The Open Festival starts later in the afternoon and continues with sessions on Saturday evening, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon, concluding with the awards presentation.
Session start and finish times to be confirmed once program is finalised.
