Thank you and congratulations to everyone who entered the VDL’s inaugural Monologue Competition. Forty six entries were received. We appreciate the work and commitment that went into every entry and were particularly impressed with the number of original scripts.
The adjudicators scored each entry ‘blind’ and the overall scores were tallied by an independent party to arrive at the results. You can view all the entries here in the order they were submitted and see which ones were awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in each category. Each of the three adjudicators also gave an Adjudicator’s Award.
YOUTH – five entries were received and the adjudicators selected their top three, comedy or drama. Congratulations to all the youth entrants for having a go. We definitely want to see more!
