Synopsis
Four couples are at the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. The party never begins because the host has shot himself in the head and his wife is missing. His lawyer’s cover-up gets progressively more difficult to sustain as the other guests arrive and nobody can remember who has been told what about whom. Doors slam and hilarity abounds as the couples get more and more crazed. ‘Rumors’ was Neil Simon’s first farce.

Rehearsal Period:
Rehearsals will be three times a week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings & Sundays at director’s discretion.
Please Note:
Successful cast members MUST BE available for rehearsal period as well as all production dates. Please check you are available for all performance dates before booking your audition time.
In line with Victorian Government requirements, all cast must be able to provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination status or medical exemption.
